Roneeka and her co-owners joined CHAMPS in 2022 as a way to strengthen their connection to the community, meet other business owners and to help them keep up to date on local information. Finding it hard to keep up with new and changing regulations is difficult for a small business owner, so being part of an organization that knows what they need and is able to share expertise with us has been incredibly helpful. Regularly meeting with other business owners and residents in the community has also proved invaluable, not just for business collaborations and making connections with neighbors, but also because knowing that they have a supportive community there for them when they need it makes a huge difference. Finally, the members of CHAMPS are diverse, knowledgeable, and fun, so they appreciate being able to meet up with them in person during monthly happy hours while supporting a local business at the same time
