Julie Aaronson joined CHAMPS in January 2018. She previously worked for 16 years in various federal government roles focused on budget and appropriations, outreach and communications. She has a master’s in political management from George Washington University, and majored in journalism and political science at the University of Kansas.
Julie brings experience organizing outreach, advocacy, and communications efforts, and supporting economic development initiatives. She has a deep understanding of how businesses and government can work together and is enthusiastic about helping local businesses thrive for the good of the community.
She is a longtime resident of Capitol Hill, with her husband, two daughters and two dogs, and she’s excited that her parents recently moved to the Hill, too. You’ll find Julie on foot or bike frequenting our Capitol Hill businesses, particularly coffee shops.
